3.    Correspondence
The Commission reviewed two letters from NHDES permitting a project at the property of Panilaitis et. al. on Winnepocket Lake with conditions as stated in the letters to be met. No action was required. The first is a Wetlands and Non-Site Specific Permit (2013-02651) and the other is a Shoreland Impact Permit (2012-02353)

4.    Winter Outing – February 9th

The winter outing snowshoe event will take place at the SPNHF Shea Reservation on Clough Sanborn Hill Rd at 2:30 pm on February 9th.  Participants can park at the beginning of Clough Sanborn Hill Rd and walk to the Shea trail.

5.    Warner River - New Hampshire Rivers Management and Protection Program (RMPP)

Mary Jo MacGowan reported on her attendance at a meeting of the Warner Conservation Commission concerning this potential designation for the Warner River. Each participating town will be asked to evidence their support and appoint a representative to an advisory committee that will facilitate the protection program. She will distribute informational materials to the Commission members, to work towards drafting a presentation to the Webster Selectboard.

6.    Annual Report

Ms MacGowan will circulate a draft for the Commission’s annual report to members for review and comment. All agreed that it would be desirable to add pictures of the Girl Scouts who helped at our last Earth Day clean up event organized by Sally Embley and Linda Clark.

7.    Time change next month

Because of the Town budget review meeting, the Commission will begin its February meeting at 6:00 pm.

  1. New Business
Linda Clark has begun research on soliciting help for our next Earth Day event.  Those who will be contacted include the Town’s Scout groups, and the Middle and High schools. There will be more discussion of this topic at our next meeting.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Susan C. Roman
